April Message

April has arrived and it is so exciting to see all the activity in the church.  After a long period of time without classes due to the covid-19 issues, we have decided to open our Sunday School classes again and much, much more.

What an amazing Palm Sunday service we had here at FCC.  The Palms were waving as we celebrated Jesus coming into Jerusalem.  His name was lifted high in song and Word, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord”!

In addition, the Haysville Community Palm Sunday service was held in Rigg’s Park this year and it was a beautiful evening for the service.  The area churches all brought their musical pieces and our praise team did a fabulous job.  I could not be prouder of the song “Risen” that they did that day.  Our church was well represented at that service.

On Saturday, we once again had the pancake feed and Easter egg hunt. It was great to see so many come out that morning with kids everywhere.  Peggy Smith led our team in the kitchen and Connie Jones lead our team through the remainder of the morning.  We had our AWANA booth set up and Audra received our first registrations for our new program.

Our Easter service just could not have been better.  Just to see the sanctuary so full was a sight to see!  “He is Risen”, we all proclaimed in one voice and celebrated His resurrection.  Because He lives…All things are possible!!

With our AWANA club starting on the 14th of April and our Sunday School starting up again on April 18th for all ages, we will be back up and running.

We are so grateful for everyone’s continued prayers for our church throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and please know that we are praying for you as well.

God Bless!!!

Pastor Greg
