We have just had an amazing June here at First Christian Church! What a joy it was to see everyone again as we celebrated having the church opened for one full year. Pop for Pop’s was a total success as our first fellowship event and I want to thank Peggy Smith and crew for all their efforts for that special day. Max Freeman was baptized and what a celebration that was. In addition, we are having a steady stream of visitors to our loving fellowship and I am so pleased with the way you have welcomed them and included them in our church.

Now, July is upon us with many wonderful ministry events up-coming. First and foremost are the 4th of July events here in Haysville which begins with a parade down Grand Avenue. Dan and Connie Jones have acquired a trailer that will act as our float and we are asking as many adults and children to come and ride on the float or walk behind the float. Our banners will promote our Church and our AWANA CLUB. We are asking folks to bring us candy to throw out and we will hand out flyers for VBS and AWANA to people along the parade route. So come and enjoy the fun!

Vacation Bible School is coming up on July 23 -25 and this is a time to plug in and be a blessing to our church. We are needing volunteers to help in a variety of ways and we hope that you will call Audra in the church office. Just tell her, “I want to help VBS!”
