October is upon us with many exciting new adventures ahead of us with God on our minds, Jesus in our hearts and the Holy Spirit at work in us. Together, we will accomplish much for His kingdom as we journey toward advent. We must remain united together and let nothing separate or divide us.

Our AWANA club for our children continues to bring us joy with every child that joins and learns about Jesus and His love for us. We have absolutely amazing leaders who are dedicated to this effort and I invite every member, whether you are attending or home bound or far away right now…pray for our AWANA club and our leaders. We need your support in every way as this new ministry takes shape in the months ahead.

Chest of Joash

The Chest of Joash continues to grow and we are so close to finalizing our new playground for our children. Our thanks to each of you who have given to this wonderful effort, and to finally make this a reality for our church. It was a dream and a vision that was cast over two years ago and it takes prayer and diligence and patience to bring about this amazing blessing for our fellowship.

Another new development is our men of the church have organized a Men’s Breakfast on October 16th at 9 a.m. “Calling all men” …it’s been a long time since we have gathered and I want you to feel officially invited and welcome. It’s sure to be a great time of fun and fellowship.

Please welcome our new members Teddy and Chloe Webb to our fellowship here at First Christian Church in Haysville. Please make them feel welcome.
