April 2022 Message

I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd sacrifices His life for the sheep.

John 10:10

As we approach our Easter celebration, we must keep “our eyes on Jesus”, vigilantly watching for His hand in our lives and in His church. God is very busy in each of our lives, working out His perfect will in our lives. We should try to never miss a thank you to God for the blessings that surround us today.

The “Good Shepherd” is faithful to protect us, encourage us, bring healing to us, and forgiving us of our sins. He inspires us to launch into new ministries with great courage. The new Fun with Friends Club is a gift from Him and if we remain faithful, many more blessings will ensue. Our AWANA Club has been very successful in its first year with way too many blessings to count. We have 2 baptisms so far and our kids have memorized hundreds of scriptures, raised the roof in praise to Jesus and have already given over $100.00 to help the refugees in Ukraine. Never underestimate what God can do through us when we step out in faith!

Ahead, we have a host of opportunities to show God our thanks and give Him some resounding praise. First and foremost, make Sunday church service a priority every week. This will do more for your spirit than anything else. We all need to be fed by Worship and Praise and Prayer together. Other opportunities are the Community Palm Service in Riggs Park, where all the churches get together to lift up Jesus! Get involved in a ministry of the church this week!  Volunteer for our homeless ministry, AWANA ministry or other fellowship events. Our faith will grow and God’s peace will be upon us when we gather to honor Him.

Easter is upon us so Invite, Invite, Invite your friends and neighbors to this great celebration. They too need the fellowship and encouragement in their lives. Blessings to each of you as you serve Him during the Easter season.

Your friend in Christ,

Greg
