The month of May has many opportunities to celebrate our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the source of our love, our strength, and all that is good. Our hope is in Him! Celebrate that today in your private prayers.
Our AWANA club had such a successful year and it was pure joy to watch them lead worship on AWANA Sunday. I was thrilled (as I said Sunday) that over 500 scriptures were manifested into every child’s heart! We were able to touch 32 kids this year with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! We had 31 adult leaders who stepped up and made this successful for 27 weeks of AWANA. “My cup overflows!”
Mother’s Day is upon us and we want to celebrate motherhood. I have been the recipient of amazing love from my mother and my grandmothers, my mother-in-law and witnessed what I believe was God’s purpose for mothers as we raised our kids and enjoyed our grandchildren. How can we give God thanks for such a profound gift?
We will also celebrate the graduations of those in our congregation and families of our congregation. If you know of anyone in our congregation that is graduating, please let Audra in the office know.
In addition, on May 11th Shari Burke and the Worship committee are hosting a prayer Station Event. Can you give 30 minutes to God next week? The sign -up sheet is in the lobby. Please make this a priority…we must be a church of prayer warriors!
