“Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.”

Romans 5:2

Paul reminds us that we are all recipients of God’s amazing grace. Furthermore, he reminds us that we (First Christian Church of Haysville), have been called at this time in history, to share God’s glory. This is our time to shine for Jesus. Therefore, let’s together make use of every opportunity to further the gospel to our community.

One of the ways this can come to fruition, is our AWANA Club. We ended our last AWANA year very strong and as Paul says, “Because of our faith”, Christ has brought us to this time and place to grow the church He has blessed us with. Remember to pray for this ministry every day and pray and believe that God would exceed our expectations. Pray for the children, pray for our leaders and pray for our success in this coming year.

In September, invite a friend to church, plan to attend the fellowship dinner, join a Bible study, attend Fun with Friends Club or UFO. Even if you just got out of the habit of coming to the church services during Covid, reengage now, make a new commitment and start again. We can do more for God when we do it together and in His holy name.
