Praise the Lord…Easter is upon us!!
This text is a declaration of praise and recognition that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world who came in the power and authority of God.
“I have come in my Father’s name,” said Jesus.
John 5:43
All that Christ did was commissioned by His Father. And we are also commissioned by the Father to go make disciples of all nations.
It was a tremendous joy to see everyone that attended the Jesus Revolution movie in Derby. Many thanks to John Burke and Darrel Finch for making that possible. We had 41 in attendance at the theater for that showing.
What a tremendous blessing our AWANA Club has been. We had 14 children last week that worked diligently to memorize this week’s verse. Janice works with them in small group with their study books and the kids lead us in wonderful God honoring worship. Many thanks to all of our volunteers that make the happen every week.
Invite, invite, invite!!! Your friends and neighbors to our activities during Holy Week. That begins with April 1 Pancake feed followed by an Easter Egg Hunt. Palm Sunday will be amazing both on Sunday morning and in the Park at 5:00 PM. Mark your calendars for Maundy Thursday Service at 6:00 PM. Then…our amazing Easter Celebration that you simply won’t want to miss. So, Invite, invite, invite!!!
Also mark you calendars for our Men’s Breakfast in the morning followed by our Open Mic Revolution on April 15th. These are exciting times and the Spirit of our Lord is moving among us.
Praise be to God for sending His Son, Jesus Christ, that we have new life, renewed hope and amazing salvation for all who come in the name of the Lord!
