What an amazing Easter celebration we had here at First Christian Church! We enjoyed 90 souls in worship that day as we flowered the cross and brought praise and worship to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We also enjoyed reading Max Lucado’s devotions all through out the 40 days of lent. The Pancake Feed and Egg Hunt was a huge success. Gathering during Holy Week, our worship team assisted us with a very meaningful Maundy Thursday Service. Our Palm Sunday was celebrated in our worship center and in Riggs Park later that day. Jesus was lifted high, as He made the supreme sacrifice for us all.

May has arrived and we have countless opportunities to continue the celebration. Make worship a priority with you and your families. We will host a third Christian Open Mic on the 20th and all are invited to enjoy this amazing time of Christian music. There will be another Mens’ breakfast and a Women’s Brunch for great fellowship and fun. Be sure to join Fun With Friends Club as a great time of good food, games and fellowship.

Our hospitality center is going great and we are thankful for Dan and Connie Jones and Gary and Michael Peak for helping to make that such a great success. Keep up the good work, we love it!
